Who is the designer for Blushing Designs?
Founder Shelley Klassen gives all the creative direction, inspirations and heads the design team for Blushing Designs (and Shelley Klassen!). She also works closely with an assistant, Nadine Chong.
 
Where is the design studio?
Blushing Designs and Shelley Klassen are both designed in our studio at the back of our boutique, 579 Richards St, Vancouver.
 
Where is Blushing Designs and Shelley Klassen manufactured?
All clothing is manufactured in local Vancouver factories. We frequent these locations with spot checks, to ensure only the highest quality for our garments. 
 
Are there any other Blushing Boutique locations?
No, the boutique in Vancouver is our flagship location and currently the only Blushing Boutique. However, Blushing also wholesales to other boutiques all across Canada. For information regarding the closest boutique to you, email us at studio@blushingboutique.com. (subject line "blushing locations")
 
Are all your styles available online?
No. We do special dresses and peices for in store only. These are usually very limited peices with only 5-8 ever made!
 
I want to work for Blushing Designs, how do I apply?
We are always accepting resumes. If you would like to submit yours you can email it to us at studio@blushingdesigns.com (in microsoft word general format only). Or drop it off in person (preferably on a weekday) to the studio at 579 Richards St, Downtown Vancouver.
 
Does Blushing Designs offer Internships?
We do! For further information or to discuss a potential internship with us please email us a copy of your resume to  studio@blushingdesigns.com subject line, Internship at blushing. Internships are unpaid.

Online Sales, Frequently Asked Questions
 
What if I place an order and Blushing doesn't have the item in stock?
Because we only have limited stock for each of our items we can sell out of specific items quickly. If we are out of stock on an item that you've ordered, we will notify you via e-mail. Any changes will be reflected in your order total as well as your shipping confirmation accordingly.

 

Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

For security reasons, we do not currently ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

 

What methods of payment can I use?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for online purchases.
For Boutique purchases in store, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Interac and Cash. 
 
How Do you Ship?
All Orders shipped within Canada are shipped VIA Canpar and should arrive in approximately 7-14 business days from the date we ship. Orders shipped to the US shipped via Canpar can expect the order in 10-17 business days from the date we ship. All international orders are shipped via FedEx or UPS and should arrive within 15-20 business days. Orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Fridays of every week. Orders can take up to a couple of days to be processed before shipment is sent out. Please note all arrivial times are approximate and blushingboutique.com has no way of guaranteeing when an order will arrive.

 

International Orders
All credit card transactions on blushingboutique.com are completed in Canadian (CAD) dollars. The actual charge to your credit card will be based on exchange rates at the time of payment processed by your credit card company. International orders are sent VIA FedEx or UPS. You can expect your order in aproximately 10-15 business days from the date we ship.

Important: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are charged, once your package reaches your country. Blushing Boutique does not collect duties and taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If you do incur these additional charges, you might be presented with an invoice, which you are responsible for. For more information regarding your country's custom policies, please contact your local customs office.

 

How Can I Change My Order?
Please be advised that once an order has been processed we are unable to make any modifications to the order including cancellations.
