- Beats by DJ Dom Repta Of Digital Roots
Los Angeles based designers, Canadian natives and twin brothers, Chip and Pepper Foster, are gearing-up for the grand opening of their fourth pop-up shop
to open in Vancouver on December 10, 2009 at Blushing Boutique, 579 Richards St (at Dunsmuir). Consumers can find exclusive items created entirely for the Vancouver based Blushing pop-up shop, as well as classic Chip and Pepper favorites.
“It’s going to be wicked!” said Chip Foster. “We’re giving Chip and Pepper addicts access to one-of-a-kind, minimum cut items just in time for the holidays! Shoppers will enjoy knowing they are getting clothes, either for themselves or for gifts, which will not be available anywhere else.”
In collaboration with Vancouver based Canadian designer Shelley Klassen of Blushing Designs, the duo will launch their fourth pop up shop at Klassen’s flag ship store Blushing Boutique. Shelley is extremely excited to work with Chip and Pepper and personally knows the energy they bring to a venture. "We specialize in women’s clothing, dresses more specifically, so I'm really excited to incorporate a huge denim element into the boutique and offer my current clients a phenomenal denim product as well introduce the boutique to a whole new clientele, including men. “
Chip and Pepper Jeans and Apparel will be available exclusivly at Blushing Boutique from December 10, 2009 through March 2010.
About Chip & Pepper:
From clothing lines and music videos, to bar-b-q sauce and cartoons, identical twin brothers, Chip and Pepper Foster have done it all—with energy that makes most heads spin. In 2003, the identical twins, originally from Canada, launched the premium vintage denim line called Chip & Pepper. The line’s popularity has expanded to include maternity, kids, knitwear, hats, leather goods, and sportswear. The brand also includes Chip & Pepper University, a knit line incorporating vintage and original logos from more than 75 universities around the nation. Chip & Pepper is sold through select department and specialty stores in more than 42 countries.
Prior to delving into denim, the brothers opened Golf Punk, bringing high-end vintage trends to Melrose. In the 1980’s, Chip and Pepper’s knack for fashion became evident, when selling Chip and Pepper t-shirts out of the back of their truck turned into a multi-million dollar business. They’ve hosted a cartoon show in LA, “The Look for Less” on E! Entertainment and the Style Network, and they also proudly serve as fashion correspondents for Extra, where they have covered everything from fashion week to landing Jessica Simpson’s first post divorce on-camera interview.
